Mr. Kyle was representing Stillwater at the Stuco districts conference.

Grant organized a dinner out for his squad!
They were 1. able to leave and 2. they didn't wear dress blues!
physical fitness assessment

Baseball season has started. I copied a friend and got some great shoes for OSU stuff.

Rodney and Sarah Cripps will be moving to Stillwater to be our new pastor!
I am thrilled with his knowledge and leadership. It's what is needed at this time.

7th grade field trip to the aquarium.
I think this is a pretty cool picture.
friends forever :)
Reid was so glad that I was there. He was thankful I took off work. He wasn't embarrassed to be with me.
It was a great few hours!
Reading little kid books in bed b/c he's procrastinating sleep.
It worked. ha!
Someone thinks he is in charge of the house.
Propping his paw up to lay on it!

Wreck and tennis

It's been a rough week around here for Kyle (and his parents). Within four days, he had his first wreck which unfortunately is totaling his car and got his first speeding ticket.
Yikes.

Our favorite hockey player is now a professional!
that's a lot of shredding...
Reid has become such a good little baker!  He enjoys it like Grant does.
The two estimates for Donna... back when he thought he had hope to just get her fixed.

Reid had his first junior high tennis tournament.  They ended up 7th out of 16!  And, he had a 101 fever when he finished his last match.  Eek.
Thankful for these older guys - they're "cool" and nice and fun.

Partner Max who is in 8th grade.
I'm always the "did you put on sunscreen?" mom.  I put it on myself as did Jason.  We let the kid "do his thing" with his teammates.  I'm pretty sure he will remember it for every tournament to come.
OUCH!
Jason and Kyle replaced the mailbox that he hit.  It is the darn sturdiest mailbox you'll ever come across (was before (hence the total) and is now as well).

HBD GJW!

We decided it would be too long to wait until spring break to see Grant and made a quick trip to COS to visit him. I headed out on a cheap flight on Friday and was able to get an extra afternoon of fun in with him.
Poster in the airport... of course Luke is on it.
I drove to Woodland Park, Manitou Springs, and Green Mountain Falls to check them all out. I also had looked at different hikes on campus to try. I opted for doing "the stairs" solo. There are 306 stairs (that's what the app said) and I decided to do it twice. SUCKING AIR.
Very unfortunately, the day after we left, the area at the bottom of the stairs and to the west were hit by a wildfire and made the news.

THIS PICTURE - made me happy. I was hanging out waiting on a bench overlooking the campus and I felt a reason to look right - and there he was!!! All soldiery and camo and grinning.
After he attended a lecture, he changed and we headed out. Last time he'll see us on a weekend and have to wear his dress blues!!
The other fellas in the car!
Grant and I went to Cheddars for dinner and then to a movie.

Saturday was hiking, eating and driving gocarts!
Mom was not happy they did this.
He even got a cake!
Sunday morning right before dropping him back off.
They're so cute.

Happy birthday, Grant - wish I was with you on your actual day but glad for the weekend!
